The consensus was strong as the crew gave their thoughts on the authenticity of the speech and whether the relationship, as a whole, is genuine. From there, the gang discusses Kirk Franklin’s recent commentary regarding how the church weaponizes marriage against people, particularly single women (19:28). The discussion starts with whether marriage is actually being weaponized and delves into the depths of misogyny in various aspects of life and culture.
